Daniel Webster Elementary School commissioned the creation of this mosaic to honor Dena Fischer, a mother who spearheaded the fundraising drive for a beautiful new school library, and sadly died before she was able to see her project come to fruition.  Dena loved books, music  and musical theater; quotes from favorite children's literature, and from her beloved "Singing in the Rain", are incorporated into the artwork.
