Commissioned by SF Arts Commission, there are two “street markers” in two locations, each one with a mosaic on either side.  

The faces and the bikes are at Balboa and 34th Ave.

The theater (filmstrip) and ocean ones are at 39th.

These neighborhood markers, combined with new plantings and paving, were part of a SFDPW effort to revitalize a quiet, out of the way neighborhood near the ocean and Golden Gate Park.
